Josiah’s Christian view on Authority

Hi. It’s Josiah. Sorry I haven’t been able to post anything else. I’ve been busy with things.

You know I’m a strong believer in Jesus Christ. I know many people probably don’t like authority. And they’re probably right. Take government in general for example. Many of the authorities in government power think they are God. A lot of our government has become corrupt and greedy. But they are not God who is in Jesus Christ. Jesus has all the power.

For example in John Jesus said that all authority on heaven and earth has been given to me. Jesus is the ultimate Authority. And his authority has never been corrupted. I’ll tell you many of the laws have tried to take God out of everything.  But God is always there.

The bottom line is Jesus created authority for a reason. Even if we don’t like all things they do we still have to obey the law. One more thing. The Constitution was founded on Christian principals.

This is the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Ultimate Authority.

The King of Kings, The Lord of Lords, The Prince of Peace, Everlasting God, Light of The World, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Savior of the World, and the author of Truth.

  1. I’m pleased that you chose to tackle this difficult topic…I wouldn’t have the nerve to write a post about this topic because I still wrestle with this issue in many ways. Thanks for your godly & biblical take here! Great Job!
